I love bold, vibrant color. While thinking about subjects for my watercolor paintings, I was in the supermarket and looked at the beets and carrots with new admiration, seeing the abundance of color and patterns. Since that day, vegetables, fruits and flowers have been arranging themselves in my mind in countless ways while I splash their colors and designs onto large watercolor paper.
